This course builds upon the gentle 'Introduction to Statistics.' It comprises 5 modules and takes 2 hours to complete. The course makes use of theoretical knowledge and practical exercises to increase learner competency in 'doing' statistical tasks. It aptly begins with a discussion on ethics and moves steadily towards manual tasks in calculating basic summary statistics which include measures of centre and measures of dispersion. Each learning module has a content video presentation and a short quizz which unlocks the next module. At the end of the course, an evaluation will be given to assess learning. Learners will be given a badge to be used for enrollment within advanced courses.
